It is now the summer of 2025 and we are on our way to Cody, Wyoming. We have passed through Kansas and are now in Nebraska, a state we have not been to in all of our travels. Our first stop was in North Platte, and then Scottsbluff before we leave the state and head into Wyoming.

We stopped at I-80 Campground in North Platte for a week to visit some of the places here. We tried going to Buffalo Bill State Historical Park, but they wanted to charge us $14 just to park and see the place; we opted not to visit but I did get some pictures. Instead went to the Lincoln County Historical Museum. North Platte has the largest railyard in the world, where all trains in the U.S. come to when they head east and west. You can view it from the Golden Spike Tower and Visitor Center. They also have a really neat train museum, which houses the Union Pacific Challenger 3977 (pictured above).

From North Platte we traveled to Scottsbluff, Nebraska to see some more sights.
