Styx River RV Resort, Robertsdale, Alabama

Styx is one of the seven resorts of Ocean Canyon Properties, and is our "home base resort." The park is actually north of Robertsdale off Waterworld Road, where the famous Derailer Diner is located. There are some full time residents who reside at the park, and a lot of OCP members who visit.  They also have cabins which we have stayed in on our travels. There is a large recreation center with games, TV center, play center for children, kitchen. Upstairs is for adults only with two pool tables, TV center, and tables for card games. They also host lots of activities for the guests and children. There is a large playground for the kids and a game center as well.

There are two pools - one outside and a heated one inside. They have a real nice outdoor center with TV's, lots of tables and where they hold get togethers.

There is a nice stairway and decks down to Styx River with a large fire pit and picnic tables near the river.  The river is low enough for tubing and playing in. There is a trail along the river which comes out at what used to be the waterworld. There is a large concrete slab next to the lake, and a large grassy area around the lake where I let Hayley & Lucy loose to get their exercise.
