Tips & Suggestions

In this section I am going to highlight Tips & Suggestions that we have encountered to help you with your RVing experience. Please click on the blue highlighted sections to take you to that specific topic.

The first section is about your black and gray water tanks. Of course, everyone has a different idea as to what you should do, but this is what I find works best for us.  We also use a system from Blue Streak which offers a dispensing container that feeds a specific amount of liquid treatment into your toilet every time you flush.

Another topic that is of interest to full time RVers is internet service. We use Verizon and I have a hotspot that I use for my computer, but what about TV? A lot of people have satellite, but that can be quite expensive. Nice if you have the money to pay for satellite; however, we don't like the stations it offers as we do not watch them. We like over the air, our LG channels and Roku. We used to use our tablet's mobile hotspot, then switch to Jim's phone for internet service, but of course when you use up your fast data, it slows down to a crawl. Then I learned about FMCA's (Family Motor Coach Association) TechConnect Plus hotspot they offer through T-Mobile/Sprint. It does not throttle you down and we use it specifically for the TV.
