Welcome to the Adventures of Jim & Gayle! We are glad that you have come to visit and join us in our adventure. Jim & I decided it was time to begin our full-time RVing adventure, so on May 15, 2012 we set out on our journey. We live in a 2004 30-foot Award Travel Trailer, which we had custom built by Award RV in Dunnville, Canada. The trailer is perfect for us as it's a setup I modified so we could get the best use out of the living quarters. Read "How It All Started"where I give a short synopsis on how we decided to start on our fulltiming adventure.
In Gayle's Blog you will find pictures and descriptions of where we have been since we first bought our RV back in 2003. I post our visits to national parks, national monuments, museums, people and places we have visited, and other quirky and out of the way places we find interesting. To follow us via my blog, click on the "Gayle's Blog" link. When you are there, look on the right hand side and you will see a link called "Follow by Email." Just put your email address in the space and click submit. Or go the the "Followers" section and click "follow." This will take you to another page where you click "follow" again. It's that easy. We look forward to sharing our adventures with you.
I have been writing a Daily Journal since the early 1970s, but that is not included here in my website. What I have here starts in 2012 when we began our RV journey. Throughout the Journal I have included links to my Blog on the places we have visited and things we have done. So if you feel inclined to read any of my Journal, please enjoy the links to the places referenced.
We workamped for a few years and in my Workampingsection, there is information about what workamping is all about and what you need to do to get started.
In the RV Lifestylesection there is information about full time RVing, the different clubs and organizations we belong to, along with domicile information.
You can also visitUSA-West and USA-Eastfor information and links to the places we have visited, as well as sites in the National Park System.
In my Gadgets & Things section, I talk about different gadgets we use that make our life easier -- ones that we think will benefit other people as well.
January 2021: On another note, I wanted to let everyone know that we are not on Facebook any longer. There is massive censoring happening, and after being kicked off twice, I am done with it. I have set up an account on MeWe at www.mewe.com/gaylekerch1.
We still have our email account. Please drop us a line or comment - we enjoy hearing from you.
