We finally made it farther than New Mexico on our trip west.  Arizona has quite a vast landscape variation.  Coming across the northern section we found the Painted Desert and Petrified Forest.  From there we went south to the Sedona area and its red rocks.  North of that is forest land  and the Grand Canyon.  South and southwest is desert.  So far we like the forest best.  The desert is too hot and bleak.  The above picture is taken on our trip through the Red Rocks of Sedona.
