We enjoyed discovering the Kentucky Bourbon Trail when we traveled through Kentucky back in 2012 and 2013. We were able to get our passbooks stamped at each of the distilleries, send them in and get our Kentucky Bourbon t-shirts.

Kentucky Bourbon Trail ~~ January 3, 2013
General George Patton Museum ~~ January 2, 2014

We made our way back through Kentucky on our 2019 summer vacation tour. We stopped at Diamond Caverns RV Park, which is on the same road as Mammoth Cave National Park. You can view my Blog on Mammoth Cave under the National Parks heading. But while at Diamond Caverns, we only got to visit the Historic Railpark and Train Museum in Bowling Green. We were going to visit the Corvette Museum but it just so happens it was the 25th Anniversary of the museum and about 10,000 corvettes from around the United States were there along with thousands of people, so that was out. And then we had a water leak and that took three days to fix. By then it was time to leave.

Historic Railpark & Train Museum ~ August 30, 2019

We made another trip east in 2021, first to Florida then up to Georgia, North Carolina, and then we began our trek west, first stop Crossville, Tennessee, then Cave City, Kentucky, home of Mammoth Cave National Park. The park did not have many tours open due to "covid" so we did not go on any, nor did we go into the park, but did manage to get to a museum.
