We have been in and out of Colorado throughout the years. Our first trip to Colorado was in 1992 -- way before we started our full time adventure. We went on four family vacations. We also owned 35 acres in southern Colorado for many years and visited it and the area for many years. We finally sold it, so we will not be making any more trips to visit it. One of the sites that we viewed many years ago was the Ludlow Massacre. We visited it again on our 2018 trip.

Our summer vacation of 2025 took us back to Colorado on the down side of our vacation circuit. We stayed in Monument, Colorado for two weeks and I had planned on seeing a few museums and other places, but there was so much traffic on I-25 that it stopped us from doing much traveling. Also, the cost to drive up to see Pikes Peak was $18 pp, which was too expensive.
