Northwest Zone
We did make it to the Northwest Zone, but that was when we were southeast and southwest zone members, and not full members where we could visit any Thousand Trails. It was while we were up there that we decided to buy a used membership and upgrade so we could stay at the parks in the northwest. However, we only made it to one park while there, so we will be going back again to visit. It encompasses Oregon and Washington.

South Jetty, Florence. (The one park we visited.) The whole park is in the forest and many sites are totally shaded and felt damp and moldy. Many FHU sites were blocked off due to electrical issues, and they said they are working on fixing them, and there weren't many FHU sites to begin with. Our site had good electric and good water quality, but it was a W/E and small. No cable or WiFi but good antenna TV reception. Two clubhouses and an outdoor pool. Fair size fenced-in dog park. They also offer: fishing, pickleball, shuffleboard, dog park. Local attractions: Siuslaw River, Oregon Dunes, Beaches, Florence Old Town, Siuslaw Museum, Darlington State Nat'l Site, Sea Lion Caves, Sandland Adventures (dune buggy rides).
Whalers Rest, South Beach. This campground is less than a mile from the Pacific. They offer an on-site spa, swimming pool, hiking trails, fitness center, pickleball, tennis courts, dog park. Local attractions: Oregon Coast Aquarium, Rogue Ales Brewery, Hatfield Marine Science Center, Town of Newport, Wax Works Museum, Ripley's Believe It or Not.
