Coast to Coast is a membership park system with over 300 parks around the country. To access their parks you need a "home" park, which you can get through a membership with Ocean Canyon Properties, or by buying into it through a Coast park itself. There are four different levels of Coast parks which entitles you to stay from one week to three weeks.
(1) Coast Classic Resorts allow you to stay a maximum of seven days with the ability to make reservations 3 to 60 days in advance.
(2) Coast Deluxe Resorts allow you to stay a maximum of 14 days with the ability to make reservations 3 to 90 days in advance.
(3) Coast Premier Resorts allow you to stay 14 days in peak season and 21 days in nonpeak season with the ability to make reservations 3 to 120 days in advance.
(4) Coast Good Neighbor Parks allow you to stay a maximum of seven days with the ability to make reservations 3 to 60 days in advance. The big difference with GNP parks is that the amount paid per night is determined by the park itself. I have found the cost to be anywhere from $20 a night to $45 a night. I usually do not stay at GNP parks for this reason. I also found that a lot of the GNP parks are also Passport America parks.
The first three types of Coast parks, for the most part, are free of charge. You will find some who charge a resort fee, tax, or a fee to hook up to cable TV. They have a great website that gives a lot of information about each park, and you don't have to be a member to get the information about the parks.
If you are interested in Coast to Coast without an OCP membership, I would recommend buying a resale. There is a company in Florida who handles resales of many different types of camping memberships at amazing deals, and I recommend contacting Campground Membership Outlet and speaking with Kimberly Hoel. You will be able to save thousands of dollars by purchasing a resale membership and still get the same amazing membership benefits as you would paying a lot more. And when you speak to Kimberly, please mention that you heard about her company from us.
