Texas is such a huge state and there is so much to see, from plains and prairies to mountains and water.  We spend a lot of time there and enjoy visiting the sites.  We also enjoy spending time with our grandchildren and spend time in Glen Rose catching up with friends and getting our annual doctors' visits.  It is also our domicile state. In 2018 we finally made it to Big Bend National Park ~ the above picture is of the Rio Grande with U.S. on one side and Mexico on the other.

Since we traveled up the east coast during the summer of 2019, we did not make it back to Texas until September. Our first stop back in Texas was at Lake Tawakoni Thousand Trails in Point, which is about 70 miles east of Dallas. We had no idea Audie Murphy grew up in the area. We also discovered that the U.S. taught British airmen at a British Flying Training School in Terrell. And the most interesting thing I discovered was the Morton salt that we all use is mined in Grand Saline, Texas.

In March the country was plagued with a new virus from China and the Deep State cabal said that the country had to be shut down in order to stop the virus. Thus, we ended up staying at Tres Rios for the summer instead of our normal summer travel. We did go down to Houston in May to visit with our children and grandchildren. Then in September we went to Amarillo for a couple of weeks just to get away.

In November we traveled to Houston again for Thanksgiving with our family. On our way down we stayed at a park north of Houston for a few days. While there, we went to see the Texas Prison Museum.

We did do some traveling during 2021, and ended up back in Texas in late summer. We stayed at Salmon Lake Campground in Grapeland, and then headed south to Huntsville for a few days, before going to Houston to visit with our family for the July 4 holiday.
