January 3, 2021. We visited with Josh & Karen every evening, but then we had to leave on today, as our week is up at Green Caye. We started on our trip east with our first stop at the Gates at McNeese in Lake Charles, Louisiana.
There is a lot of construction going on I-10 and bumps and stuff. Threw stuff all around the trailer. The refrigerator even flew open, and Jim said there were beer cans on the floor. When he shut the door, the locking mechanism messed up and he had to fix it. This new refrigerator is really not a very good design. There are multiple things I don’t like, and I sure wish I had my old one back. Don’t know how to make this one work better.
January 9, 2021. Took a few days to get to Abita Springs; we arrived on the 5th and will be here until January 14. Met our next door neighbors when they arrived the same day we did. He saw our Trump Pence sign and said that we are going to be friends. We have talked with them a few times; they are the same age we are. They just joined OCP so they are planning on doing some traveling.
They are very interested in the fiasco going on with the election and we are all of like mind. I introduced them to a lot of my posts and websites that I look at.
Even though there has been massive election fraud, Congress still went ahead and certified Biden as president. They have all committed treason, and Trump is currently in the process of putting all the information together so he can show the American people. Mike Lindell of My Pillow posted a video on Twitter telling us that he was on his way to meet with Sidney Powell and General Flynn; that all will be revealed; that Trump will be our President for the next 4 years. Pray to defeat evil.
January 13, 2021. Enjoyed getting to know our next door neighbors here at Abita, Rhonda and Bill. They are almost newly weds, having met on Match four years ago. We had lunch with them and sat around their campfire one evening. They even invited us to hide at their place if things really get bad.
So far, life is going on as usual. Trump has put out a couple of videos talking about peace and condemning violence. That’s not good enough for the Dems however as Pelosi and her cronies decided to impeach him again on one count, which they claim he incited violence on Jan. 6 during the rally.
What I can gather from the things I am listening to is that Trump is still in charge and will transfer power of the US to the military on January 20 and Biden will be arrested at that time. Supposedly USA, Inc. was dissolved and a new governmental power called 1776 will take over. It’s all kind of obscure and hard to figure out, and I have not done any research on that topic.
The Plan is still being played out and is still be employed. The Vatican has been taken down and other countries as well. There have been black outs there and people have been arrested. Of course we don’t hear about that on MSM. Speaking of MSM, all of the platforms from YouTube, Twitter, FB, and many others have taken Trump off and refuse to put him on. These platforms are also starting to ban other conservatives from using them.
I do pray that what I hear will come to pass because if Biden gets in and the Dems runs this country, we will never have our freedom again. There will be an uprising and civil war because I don’t think the Americans would stand for that. We would go to war.
Thursday we leave Abita, which I am not upset about. I really don’t care for the campground. It has been cold and damp; the water sitting on the ground goes nowhere, it just sits there and I have had to wear my sloggers when I take Lucy for a walk.
January 19, 2021. Arrived at TLC Wolf River on January 14; a Coast to Coast park. We have never been here before and our friend Peggy lives here and I wanted to see her again. We have been FB friends since her visit to Tres Rios a few years back, and I wanted to surprise her. She was surprised!
Peggy made a huge pot of vegetable soup one evening for us. She also made a loaf of bread in her bread maker and another wonderful desert with nuts and dried fruit (I need this recipe).
We have a nice pull through site, gravel, in the sun. Lucy seems to like it here as she sits outside and looks around all the time. Monday we went to Tractor Supply for dog food, then out to lunch. We also took Lucy to the beach and let her run around. Boy did she ever love that. She ran and ran, and chased birds. She got pretty tuckered out and slept all night.
Still waiting to see how the 20th is going to come out. There are 20,000 NG and Marines in Washington, DC. There is a fence with razor wire around the whole place as well. They say it’s to keep out dissidents, but some speculate that it’s to assist with the arrests. A lot of the NG have been given the authority to arrest people. Humm.
We are waiting to see what will happen on the 20th. Listening to Simon Parkes again, he gave us a tip to listen to General Hyten on Telegram.
January 29, 2021. Suggestion to read General Hyten on Telegram was a scam. He is not allowed to post anything, anywhere. But I did join Telegram anyway and am just following a bunch of different people.
Speculation is that Biden was inaugurated at a movie set in Hollywood called Castle Rock. His so-called office is not the “oval office” and many different places show the WH is closed. No one is answering the phone, it’s dark all the time, and if you pull up directions it says it’s closed. Don’t know where the Bidens are living, but it’s not there. He is not allowed into the Pentagon either. If you look at his “desk” there is no Presidential Box either.
So, we all know that he is an illegitimate president and that Trump really won, but Biden is signing EOs like they are going out of style. He has stopped the building of the border wall, and stopped the Keystone pipeline, thus putting thousands of people out of work with the stroke of a pen.
He changed the cost of the diabetes medicine back to $1,000 a dose, making people not able to afford it again.
He is undoing all the good President Trump did. But we all still have hope that things will turn out with Trump. The ball is in his court and he is just allowing the people to see the massive corruption and horror of Biden. People are regretting voting for him and have even started a Twitter page called Regret Voting for Biden. Texas AG Paxton filed a lawsuit against the Biden Admin to stop them from allowing illegals over the border, and won that case. Abbott is also filing a lawsuit to keep the pipeline going in Texas.
The 10 days of darkness I read started on January 20, which means it ends tomorrow. February 1 is supposed to be “Freedom Day.” I just wonder how long Trump is going to let this go on before telling the military to go in and take over.
Many NG have been moved to outside of the Capitol fence area, but the fence is still up, more NG are coming in and have been told to stay until the middle of March. Why would they have to stay until then, unless we will be seeing the military go in and start the arrests and military trials.
On the 21st we left Wolf River and headed to Styx River. Jim was worried that there was going to be rioting and stuff, but it’s been peaceful where we are. I hear there is rioting and the like going on in Oregon, but nothing where we are.
I got booted off of Facebook again. This was the 2nd time due to a violation of their community standards. They are cracking down on censorship. So I have opened up a page with MeWe. It’s not my favorite, and I’m having trouble getting friends to join, but it’s going to be my only platform right now. Since FB was the only avenue I had to communicate with our new friend Leslie Guerra, and I did not have Terri Coy’s phone number, I texted Nick and asked him to ask his mom to call me. She did the other day, and we talked a while, so now I have her number. I also asked her to message Leslie and have Leslie call me. I wanted to have Leslie’s number before she was booted off of FB. Who knows how long she will be on, the way they are censoring people. So Leslie called me the other night as well and we had a great conversation.
After we leave Florida, we are planning on heading into South Carolina to visit with Jake & Robyn, then Georgia, then up to North Carolina to see our friend from the Wheels Through Time museum and then Leslie.
This morning Lavon came over. He surprised us as Jim was still in bed and I was just sitting listening to my podcasts. After Jim got out of bed we went over to the Styx café and they had breakfast. We sat and talked for a couple of hours, and then Lavon headed off home. Glad he came by and we only see him every couple of years or so when we travel east.
February 9, 2021. Arrived at the Orlando Thousand Trails on Sunday and picked a quiet shady spot in the D section. That’s the old section with lots of trees and palmetto shrub. They have expanded the park and put in a lot of new sites where the large evergreen tree field used to be and in doing so, took away part of the walking trail. I don’t know why they did not leave part of the trail; always looking to make a buck instead of keeping the park more like a preserve.
Jim went out riding Sunday afternoon and got a “JIM” yell from friends who we met last time we were here – Jared & Laura. We also met them briefly while at an Encore park in Pennsylvania in 2019. But it is nice to see them again. They are a young couple with 4 children, the youngest now being 4.
Jacklyn called us on our way to Camping World this afternoon. Her blood tests came back higher than normal. She then had another blood test and that came back higher than the first one. She now has to be scheduled for a CT scan to see if there are any abnormalities. She will keep us posted on when the CT scan is and the results.
Then, Sean is scheduled for more surgery as he has thyroid cancer and I guess they are taking out his other gland. He then has to take radiation tablets and cannot be around anyone during that time frame. He is supposed to have that surgery in mid-March.
February 13, 2021. Jacklyn’s CT scan is scheduled for Monday, February 15 at 4pm. It will take a couple of days after that before she knows the results.
Took a trip to Camping World the other day, particularly to pick up another Zero G hose. Unfortunately, there was something wrong with it. It smelled and tasted like the old green hoses used just for water. It messed up our water filters and is taking a while to get the smell and taste out of the water. I ordered new water filters, particularly for under the sink. Had to put the white hose back on and then report the Zero G to customer service.
Have not been doing anything while here. There are a few museums around but have not gone to any yet. It’s been in the 80s and I am doing my walking but have not started any more exercise. Now it’s raining and will rain off and on for the next few days.
Checked prices for Epcot Center and it would be about $120 per person for us to go for one day. No Thanks.
Weather is great down here. Looked up Glen Rose and this week they are in the 30’s for a high and down in the teens and 1 to 2 at night.
February 16, 2021. Been battling bugs in the bed. I have bites all over my left arm, shoulder and neck. Was told they are bed bugs and I don’t know where we would have gotten them. I think they may have come from the clothes hamper and I picked them up at a laundry mat. Last few nights I have gotten up in the middle of the night searching for the little buggers. I find two or three every night. Last night there were 2 big ones and they got squished and full of blood. I bought a new clothes hamper and after laundry day will put the clean clothes in the new hamper and throw the old one away. I also put diatomaceous earth all around the bed area. That has not helped so far.
We are having a new bed delivered to Jacklyn’s house, which should arrive there today. I hope to have all the bed bugs eradicated by then. I will have to wash all the bedding once again before putting the new bed in.
February 17, 2021. Jacklyn just got the results from her CT scan. There is no sign of cancer in the scan; they think the tumor marker elevation is just normal inflammation and no need to go back for any blood work or follow up until her normal appointment next year. That is the best news we got today. So happy and thankful.
However, we found out by listening to the radio that Rush Limbaugh passed away this morning due to complications from lung cancer. He was battling it for a year; however, it was stage 4 lung cancer. Our friend Malia Lane had the same thing and was given a year to live. Rush was hoping for longer and went through chemo to help.
Bought some Hot Shot bed bug killer with egg kill from Home Depot yesterday. This morning after doing laundry I threw out my old laundry hamper and then this afternoon vacuumed real good, then sprayed this stuff all around the bed, valences, mattress and on the floor. We also bought some traps; I put one under the bed and one under the mattress, and will put it back under the mattress tonight.
Last night I woke up itching but every time I looked for the little critters I could not find anything crawling on the sheets.
February 20, 2021. So Julie called me Thursday to talk about meals for our week at Sertoma Youth Ranch. I made the huge mistake of telling her we a case of bed bugs and I was getting bit up. I sent her a picture of my shoulder and the next thing I knew she was telling me to get the trailer exterminated, get rid of the bed, stay at a hotel, etc.
Then Jacklyn called me because Julie called her and Jacklyn and I had a discussion about our next move. Jacklyn decided that the best thing would be for her and Sean to drive up Friday night with our new bed. Sean also brought some of the stuff their exterminator uses on bed bugs, which is the commercial stuff and better than what we bought at Home Depot. He also brought tarps, tape, plastic bags and a spray bottle of alcohol.
I had already washed all the dogs’ bedding and the cover off the couch in the morning and when Jim got up I took everything off the bed and washed that – pillows, quilt, mattress pad, and even the cover to our mattress topper. We eventually threw away the mattress and mattress topper since we did not know if there were any bugs in either of them.
Sean took the bins out from under the bed and I took out the rest of the stuff. I took out the CP machine and all the clothes off the hooks. We put the clothes in a bag so I could take them to the laundry room and put them through the dryer as heat kills them. We then sprayed all over the bedroom and floor.
After spraying we went out to dinner. Sean drove and we went to a chain restaurant called Ford’s Restaurant. It was OK, pretty expensive. But we all had a great time. Sean is a really nice person and very helpful with the bed and everything else. I was glad he had the stuff from his exterminator.
Saturday morning I took the bag of clothes to the laundry and put them through the dryer. I then decided to go through my clothes in my little closet and thought I might have seen some bugs. So I took everything out of it and took them to the laundry and put them in the dryer. I also put some things in a plastic bag that I did not want to put through the dryer.
We ended up throwing our mattress topper away as well. We have been sleeping on that since 2013, and it is really comfortable and helps me fall asleep. Last night on our new mattress was kind of hard; since the mattress is new, it is on the harder side and I did not sleep very well. Then when Lucy came to bed I lost some covers and then Jim came to bed and I lost sleeping area. Hopefully tonight I will sleep better.
February 24, 2021. Arrived at Sertoma Youth Ranch on Sunday, February 21. We got here before Bill & Julie and found a nice site down near the field. They came in later on Sunday; it was so nice seeing them again.
Monday Jim got up too early and was a zombie for most of the day. We just hung around the park for the morning and then went out to lunch. After lunch we stopped for ice cream. Bill kept saying he wanted ice cream all day. They now have three dogs – still have Blossom and Chamanoix but now Julie has a rescue from Puerto Rico who she named Ginger Lee. Lucy is having a hard time liking Ginger Lee, but out in the field or at their campsite she is fine. Ginger seems to really want to get to know Lucy and follows her around.
We had a great campfire Tuesday night and sat around their site after dinner.
Tuesday Jim stayed in bed and after walking Lucy I went over and had breakfast with Bill & Julie. We then went to a place called Boyette’s Farm. It was just a few miles away from here – the guy has lots of different kinds of animals from a camel, tiny horse, ostrich, emus, llamas, etc. Got some bread and oranges and fed all the animals as we walked around the grounds. It was really fun, but we went before lunch and by the time we were done it was around 2. We then went to lunch and had a small one as we were going to have steak for dinner.
After dinner we has a great campfire again and sat around and talked. It’s like we have not been away from each other for over a year. That’s how good friends are – we just fall into place.
I’m still not too sure that all the bed bugs. I cannot really tell whether I am getting bit or not. I wake up in the middle of the night itching and scratching. But have not gotten up to see if there are any bugs crawling around. I think I will take the stuff out of my little drawer next to my bed and put it all in a plastic bag and then spray in the hole. Will also pull my clothes in the closet up and spray in there again. Also will spray around the floor and behind the bed.
Bumby & Mary, and Lisa & Justin are coming in today. On Friday Jacklyn & Sean are coming. Today is laundry day and we will stay home for lunch as we have leftovers from the last two lunches we had.
Talking with Bill on how to fix our front window. Jim is still talking about putting fiberglass over the window, but Bill pointed out that there is a huge dip from when we put the window together, so I don’t think fiber glassing will work. I think we will end up buying a sheet of lexan and put in our own window.
March 2, 2021. Had a great weekend with Jacklyn & Sean. They also brought Jayden, who had a great time with the dogs and meeting everyone. We had a campfire every night around Bill’s site and having a community dinner every night.
Met a single woman, Debbie, up in the primitive camping where she is camping all by herself with no running water or electricity. She said she really enjoys being up there by herself. We had some great conversations when I walked Lucy up there.
Saturday we all went to a large flea market, and then to lunch. After lunch Sean, Jacklyn & I took Jayden to the animal zoo that I had gone to earlier in the week. Jayden really enjoyed it but Jacklyn was pretty sad to see all the animals in cages and alone.
Sunday we left Brooksville and arrived in Ruskin at River Vista. We squeezed into a back-in site but at least it’s big enough for the trailer and truck. Met the neighbors on one side who are very nice. They still have a house up north and come down for the winter. This place is pretty packed in, there is no dog park, but I did find a small wooded area they call the dog walk, so I can let Lucy loose there.
Since Sean lives in Palmetto, which is 9 miles south of us, I tried to get us into an Encore park down where he lives. There are two but neither of them have available spaces for TT. So, we are stuck here at River Vista. I still have to talk to them about using Passport America for another week.
We have been going over to Sean’s Sunday and Monday night so far for dinner. Sunday night they taught us a new card game, which Jayden could also play. Monday night we taught them Vegas and lost all three games to them. They wiped us out of our loose coins.
Jacklyn is buying a house in Apollo Beach with Bill as the financer, so she will be paying him the monthly mortgage. This will not get her any credit rating, but at least she will be in a place she likes. It has a big fenced in back yard, so the dogs and Jayden will have a place to play. Sean’s place has a yard, but it’s not big and the dogs really don’t have any place to go outside. Since Jacklyn is living with Sean right now until she is able to move into her house. Sean did say that his Dad wants to buy his place, so we will see. He is coming down this weekend, so I hope we will get to meet him.
Found some water oozing up between the tiles in the bathroom and then I stepped close to the bathroom wall in the hall under where I keep my collagen and protein mix and the floor went down, which means there must be a water leak somewhere. That’s today project – pull my bench out and look for a water leak, then decide how to fix the floor.
March 4, 2021. Yesterday we decided to try and figure out where the water leak is that rotted out the floor under the bathtub. I found cracks in the shower floor again and am still working on fixing those. But we took out the shower faucet assembly and took a trip to Home Depot and three other places looking for a replacement. The only place we found one was Drew’s but the one they had was made out of plastic and very expensive, so we decided to take our back home and rebuild it. Ours is high quality made of brass and good fittings. So Jim took it all apart and I cleaned all the gunk off real good. Jim then reassembled it and we put it back in, and so far no leaks. I did find that there was rot in the wall where the stems go into the wall and put some wood hardener in it.
We did not go to Sean’s Wednesday night as we were busy until late in the evening. I was fixing the tub at 8pm and then fixed dinner. I will have to put the hair dryer back under the tub to try and dry the wood out under there. Still don’t know how I am going to get wood hardener down there.
Still looking for a front window for the trailer. E-mailed a company in the UK asking about a replacement; going back and forth with info and now waiting for a response.
March 19, 2021. Made it to Sebastian on March 14 to Bill & Julie’s house. We went out a couple of times for dinner. We were expecting to see Bill & KerryAnn on Tuesday the 16th but that did not seem to pan out. Julie was planning a St. Patrick’s Day dinner for Bob & Sue’s family who is down here from Minnesota. I told her I did not care for corned beef and would not eat it, and Jim told her that we were trying to make plans with our friends.
Jim left a message with Bill Postle, but he never returned our call and then we told Julie that we were going to come to dinner. She did not like that; I guess she did not like being told at the last minute that we were coming; she has to be told in advance.
I cooked us dinner Friday night because they had left Wednesday to go to WPB for a funeral on Thursday and would not be back until Friday. So I told them I would make dinner. Evans & Jackie with their two children were also coming back on Friday (19th). I baked the Cranberry Mandarin Orange bread that Peggy had made for us and a shrimp boil.
March 20, 2021. On Saturday we went to the Shrimp Fest at the Park with Sue & Julie. Bill had to go to Orlando to pick up Julie’s nephew and his family, so he did not go to the Fest with us. That was an issue as I was not up at the house, and Jim was up there talking with her and Sue. Julie half way mentioned that she was going to the Fest and then went in the house when she said that she invited us to go with her.
When Jim came back to the trailer I asked him if we were invited and he said he did not know. I think it all got mixed up so I went up like we were going with them and she said what ?? She said Oh, I did not know you were coming; no one told me, etc.
March 23, 2021. Monday and Tuesday Jim & Bill went over to Jim Urban’s house to help him build it up. It needs a lot of work as some of the floor was rotted and they had to tear it out and put new in. Monday I went to the grocery store and then worked on the front outside compartment of the trailer.
Monday night Bill asked if we would come up to see them at 4pm. I mentioned to Jim it seems like we are going to an inquisition. And sure enough, Bill brought up Julie’s apprehensions about not being informed about what we are doing. He said to let them know if we are going to come up to the house – that we now have to text them and see if it’s OK to come up. I guess the two instances that Julie was not totally informed of what was going on made her mad, so Bill had to “talk” with us. So now I am not even going to bother with her; if there is no invite, I won’t be going up to the house.
I know they have a lot going on right now with her family visiting until Saturday; then Jacklyn & Sean are coming Saturday night. Then Julie’s sister is coming on Sunday to visit while Bill flies to Maine to clean out their summer camp and move the stuff to the new home.
I am getting ready to do the bathtub. Bill gave me some good fiberglass cloth, so I cut my two pieces, then drove to West Marine and bought some more hardener, pumps, and scrapers. I have sandpaper to sand the bottom and Bill has a sander for me to use.
Jim said they are probably going back to Jim’s house again on Wednesday so I guess I will start on the tub myself.
Also bought new gutters for the trailer, but it looks like the old ones were altered to fit, so that’s going to have to be done to the new ones.
March 28, 2021. Finally finished the tub with the fiberglass and painting. The last few days I put two layers of fiberglass down, then sanded around the drain but sanded too much and took away the fiberglass from around the cracked part of the drain. So I put another layer of fiberglass down around the drain, put the drain fitting in the space on top of parchment paper to allow the fiberglass to form to the drain area.
Then came two coats of paint with 24 hour drying time in between. Today I installed the drain pipe along with the p-trap and fittings. I pulled out some of the linoleum and rotted wood and have fan blowing under the tub to try and dry out the rotted wood. I want to pour a bunch of wood hardener in there and hope to stop the spread of rotting wood.
Bill left Saturday to fly to Maine with Garrett and Woody to move stuff out of their old cabin which they just sold to the new cabins that they just bought.
Jacklyn and Sean came Saturday with Jayden to spend the day and night. We all went out to lunch at Squid Lips, then they went swimming at the beach before we ordered dinner from Woodys. In the meantime, Sean came down to the trailer to “have a talk with us.” It was a good talk as he and Jacklyn are very serious with each other and he wants to eventually marry her. He came down to mention that and being old school, ask our permission for her hand. They both have been through a divorce and since he has Jayden he wanted to make sure that Jacklyn and Jayden get along, which they do fabulously. Jacklyn disciplines her as if she was her own daughter. she does. She does not tip toe and let Jayden get away with anything. But Jayden loves Jacklyn and is starting to call her momma.
They are planning a trip to Georgia over Memorial Day so Sean can meet Uncle Jack and Erin, Jacklyn’s best friend. Then I think they are going to Texas so Sean can meet Josh & Karen. He wants to meet her family before he officially proposes. She knows it’s coming as he has already bought her a ring ~~ so I guess he’s serious!
Jacklyn also applied for and got a new position with ADP. She went through a series of interviews for the job, which is a promotion and more money. It is a new position they just created and she is going to head it. She will be training new hires. It is still working out of the house with a little traveling.
It’s been a bit trying here with Julie. She mentioned to me the other night that she does not feel there is a reciprocal relationship; that she and Bill do all the asking. Though she did not mention Bill, but just said about us going for coffee. I did a time line of what has been happening since we got here and there really was not any time when we could have gone out to get coffee or done any quality time:
14th – arrival; dinner with Bill & Julie
15th – Went shopping; Tiki Bar with Bill & Julie
16th – worked on trailer; tried to get in touch with Bill & Kerry Ann. They did not return call. Julie made corned beef & cabbage for Bob & Sue and his family. We showed up for dinner when Julie texted Jim that the party has started. Then she got upset that we came without telling her in advance.
17th – They went to WPB for a funeral
19th – They came back; I cooked dinner. Evans & Jackie came over for the night
20th – Bill left for airport to p/u Julie’s relatives. Evans & Jackie drove themselves to the Shrimp fest. Julie said she invited us to go with her but I did not know as I was at the trailer and Jim was up there. But we went up to the house anyway to see about going.
21st – Julie’s relatives here. Bill & Jim worked at Urban’s house Mon-Wed.
22nd – Bill had to have a “talk” with us I think b/c Julie made him. Said she was overwhelmed and that she did not want people just popping in without notice beforehand. How are we supposed to take that?
23-25 – Julie up and went to WPB without saying anything to us. Oh Well.
25th – Julie came back; her relatives came back. In the am she went for a swim and invited me to swim with her, so I did not a few minutes.
26th – Julie relatives here; they invite us to dinner with them.
27th – Bill leaves for Maine; Julie’s relatives leave. Jacklyn & Sean come for the night
28th – Jacklyn & Sean here for most of the day, then take off. I asked Julie if she wanted to go to Dunkin Donuts, but she did not want to. No coffee at this hour for her. What does she want?? Her sister is supposed to come today as well.
While Jacklyn & Sean are still here, I was watching Jayden and then we go into the house. Jim goes into the front room to talk with Julie and I come in and go to sit with them. Julie makes a comment to text her first before coming up. Good grief. How are we supposed to visit with her if we have to text her first to see if it’s OK to come up? I just don’t know what to do.
March 31, 2021. Amy (Julie’s sister) and her male friend arrived late in the afternoon on Sunday. So of course, will be together this week.
I finished up the tub, mainly the p-trap and fittings. We took everything out again and Jim looked at all of it and decided how it would go back together. I think it went back together well and it does not leak.
We have been visiting with Jim Urban who is remodeling a house just down the road from Bill & Julie. We have gone over there, and he has come over to see us.
Julie & her sister decided that they were going to drive to Sarasota to visit with their niece (Stephen’s daughter). They will be gone two days and return on Friday.
We have been tossing around going back to Ruskin as we are now here alone. Jayson Bartlett is renting out Bill’s small cottage that Bill just remodeled, but he has now left for three weeks to California for a new job.
So I texted Bill to ask him if he was coming back here before heading to WPB for Easter. He may have read into my text, as his response was that we were invited to Woody’s house for Easter. So instead of going back to Ruskin we will stay here since we are by ourselves back here. I have decided to finish some of my RV projects.
I think we are going to have to pass on putting in a new front window. So far our “fix” is holding and we are taking care of it. I put the green screen over it to keep the UV rays from the sun off of it.
Jim hurt his left knee the other day it seems after he was on the floor trying to tighten the nut against the tub drain fitting.
