Why we belong to Ocean Canyon Properties

We have been members of Ocean Canyon Properties (OCP) since February 2013 and started as trial members.  Our home base is Styx River Resort in Robertsdale, Alabama.  We upgraded to their Premier (or Plantinum) membership in January 2015.  We knew we were going to be full time RVers and wanted a way to travel the country without spending thousands of dollars every year on campgrounds.  As you know, a decent campground can run between $35 to $70 a night, so the cost adds up fast.  Even if you stay for a month at one place and pay the monthly fee, we have found that this runs between $300 to $700 a month, or more.

As a Premier member, you can camp in an OCP park for three weeks at a time, then you have to be out for one week. Plus, there is usually a Coast to Coast park nearby which you can stay at on your week out. You can also travel from one OCP park to another without staying out of the system.  We spend a lot of time at Tres Rios in Glen Rose, Texas and as we travel east we stop at two other OCP properties, saving us the cost of staying somewhere on the way.

As a part of belonging to OCP, we can stay at Coast to Coast properties for no additional cost (or a small resort fee and/or tax), and Good Neighbor Parks, for a small fee.  We can stay between 7 days to three weeks at the various Coast properties.  There are over 300 Coast and GNP resorts in the United States and Canada.

Our dues for OCP is $465 per year and Coast-to-Coast is $200 per year, which I feel is well worth the cost in comparison to the amount we save in campground fees. We stayed at a lot of parks from one to three weeks, saving us thousands of dollars.

However, if you are looking for a home park, OCP Resorts offers a vacation unto themselves.  You will find pools, hot tubs, lakes, fishing, boating, hiking, golf and tennis, horse shoes, card games , bingo, live music, and much more.  Or maybe just a week of peace and quiet, to read, swim, hike or bird watch.  Whatever you choose, OCP has a vacation for you.

Call 866-927-2267 to book your get-away at any of the eight OCP resorts.  Please tell them you heard about his offer from Jim & Gayle Kerch and give them our member number SRUPB 2763.
